Oxonomics: the oes publication

OES is excited to announce the launch of its own termly economics publication: Oxonomica!

Positioned between an academic journal and a policy blog, we aim to publish analytically rigorous and substantive work that engages with real-world economics.

Oxonomica primarily publishes essays of 1,000–2,000 words, with flexibility for longer pieces where appropriate. The focus is on macroeconomic, international, and political-economy themes. Analyses of current economic events, structural developments, or policy debates are also welcome, alongside book reviews and other intellectually grounded contributions.

Oxonomica seeks thoughtful submissions that demonstrate serious and careful economic reasoning, as well as a willingness to critically engage with the economic world beyond the classroom.

Want to be in the first edition? Submissions close on 20th February. Send to journal@oxfordeconsoc.org.
